A gorgeous combination of light and fluffy with gooey and decadent. Not overly sweet but oh-so moreish - hard to resist going back for another. Perfect compliment with a mid morning (and afternoon) cup of tea. We didn't have the right sized tin for the recipe so bodged it together in a larger tray with a smaller tray creating a buffer. The rolls went in all higgledy-piggledy and didn't promise a neat and even finish - but the more it baked the less we cared. Hard to resist burning your fingers on the caramelly surface when it comes fresh out of the oven. They were a hit with my wife's work colleagues too - much to the relief of our own waistlines.
