The limited stock at our local grocery shop meant I had to use icing sugar instead of caster sugar, and I also couldn't get candied chocolate Easter eggs. Instead I unwrapped some normal chocolate eggs and added some colour and festivity with alyssum flowers from our garden. The cake was really fun and easy to make and so chocolatey! We ate it on my parents wedding anniversary to celebrate.
