The recipe was easy to follow and turned out perfectly. The double cream was very decedent, and thick to spread, it didn’t soften and become fluffy like I expected. Maybe next time I might use pure cream? Not sure? I shared it with my colleagues, it’s been a very stressful time at work, we work in the intensive care unit at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. It was nice to relax and make a cake that everyone can enjoy. My colleagues loved it, include the one gluten free lady that always misses out on treats at work. Thanks Nigella for giving me something to take my mind off work and the worlds chaos!
