Adventures in babywearing baking: I’ve baked this cake many a time but this was the first year I made it with a baby strapped to my front. As I whisked the eggs, the whirring of the mixer very nearly threatened to wake her up, but that was the only hazard! Hope she grows up to enjoy baking and eating this as much as I do.
