Hello, Instead of filling in the middle with the topping, I scooped the middle out, this was devoured by my daughter, and made room for my little chick to sit inside half of the eggshell I had. I did this because I wanted to put emphasis on rebirth and the arrival of spring, and fresh beginnings. Also, having a chick at the table is always fun and aesthetically pleasing!
