A slight variation on this wonderful gluten free Easter egg cake. I used the beautiful blossom from our quince tree as I can't buy Cadbury eggs here in Italy and because of covid-19 my trips to the supermarket are infrequent. The cake was delicious and a lovely distraction from current life. Thank you Nigella for all of the wonderful recipes you post! Life has paused but I am rediscovering my love of cooking!
