I had great pleasure in making the cake for a friends 40th birthday today. My friend is tirelessly working at Nightingale on a night shift tonight and the first thing she asked when I dropped the cake off on her doorstep is how she could take it into the hospital for her colleagues to have some later. She has since messaged me to say her colleagues have given the cake a big thumbs up.
