I’ve been making this cake as a family ritual for years and this one has the textured edge which I love! It’s a foolproof recipe that has become part of our Easter celebrations! I love adding sugar butterflies and have added ladybirds in the past and even sugar tulips one year made from paste... so this one Is fairly subdued! Nigella is brilliant and her recipes continue to bring joy to our lives.
