I never use any other recipe, whether I'm wanting to bake sweet or savoury. I use 250gr strong Cheddar cheese with 500gr flour and a half teaspoon of mustard powder for a tasty cheese scone and sprinkle extra cheese on top before popping in the oven. Sometimes I'll add sundried tomatoes or marinated red pepper, chopped bacon or ham, leek, onion...
