We enjoyed making these scones and enjoyed eating them even more. We glazed the top of the scones by dipping them in caster sugar once they had been egg-washed. Once out of the oven, we allowed to cool slightly and then enjoyed with a dollop of clotted cream and a spoonful of homemade raspberry jam. A real lockdown treat.
