Simply Delicious! I made a few goody bags for neighbours for VE Day afternoon. Delivered on their driveway or doorstep of course!!!! Each Cellophane bag was tied with ribbon & had an old fashioned brown parcel tag tied to it which said.... “Mini afternoon tea!. Lemon Drizzle, Chocolate Brownie, Fruit Scones” ( including a sachet of raspberry jam!) The scone in my picture is one of those fruit scones. Jazzed up for my husband & myself. Sliced & spread with a smidgen of butter, covered in sliced strawberries, drizzled with double cream & warm strawberry jam. Topped & dusted with a sprinkle of icing sugar. Simply Delicious!!!!
