Nothing nicer than warm scones fresh out of the oven. Although I must admit that I couldn’t get plain flour - out of stock in Melbourne- so used self raising flour and a teaspoon of baking powder instead of cream of tartare - and they were none the worse for the substitution. Deliciousness was declared by all!
