As part of our VE Day virtual tea party celebrations and always a favourite are Lily’s scones which I discovered many years ago in ‘How To Be A Domestic Goddess’ I’m on my 2nd copy as my husband noticed that the pages in the first copy were stuck together! I always add a couple of spoons of natural yogurt when making these and vary between sultanas or Parmesan & olive which work particularly well with tapas.
