I followed the recipe as described, but went for golden caster sugar to add a slightly mor caramelised taste. The cheese cake is doused in maple syrup and then sprinkled with honey bee pollen to add texture with a nod to natural sweetness and topped with caramelised maple and white pepper pecans to add a slight spice .
