This is the best recipe ever for bread and the loaf is delicious warm from the oven with butter. My favourite way to eat it is to toast it for breakfast with a thick layer of smooth peanut butter. I am not very creative and tend to be a slave to a recipe so I haven't tampered with the ingredients at all. I did wonder if it could be made with wholemeal flour but haven't been brave enough to try it although in a flurry of creativity I did unleash some jumbo oats on the top before cooking.
