To create this cake, I followed the recipe when making the chocolate sponge however I created three tiers to allow the cake to be tall yet wide enough to have hearty sized slices. For the icing I piper swirls onto the top, after smoothing out the icing, using two different tips to create variation. I then decorated the top with miniature Reese's Pieces. In future, I should create larger swirls for the top as getting the Reese's Pieces to sit nicely was difficult.
