Guinness Chocolate Cake Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I’ve never made a WET cake before. The Guinness oozed out of the cake and onto the cake stand. I did, however, enjoy drinking the leftover beer! I made the cake with almond flour as my Mother requires gluten free food. Regular granulated sugar went into this recipe. The next day I located the super fine baker’s sugar at the grocery store. My next Guinness Chocolate cake will be made with super fine sugar and regular flour. Sorry, Mom! I will cut back on the beer and drink more. Must remember to not fill the spring form pan quite so full as my pan ran over in the oven. I’ll bake another one once I finish cleaning the oven.
