Being in New Zealand, I wanted to give the cake a real Kiwi flavour. What better way to do this than by replacing the Guinness with a can of Garage Project and Whittaker's limited edition Dark Chocolate Beer. The beer is a bitter, dark chocolate stout infused with espresso, hazelnut, and orange. I followed this theme through with orange and hazelnut icing. An absolutely stunning cake. Thank you, Nigella.
