I kept the same flavours as the recipe. The lemon and almond went so well with the sweetness of the meringue. To give a bit more flair and some spring vibes I added candied lemons and lilac flowers, the lilac bushes are full in bloom here in the south of Germany so I just had to use them. It was a bit too much for just two people so I did a surprise dessert delivery to my friends who recommended this cookaling to me. We all really liked it.
