I’ve made this cake a few times and always used dried rose petal instead of the edible fresh ones. It adds more of a deeper colour and mixes well with the pistachios on the top. I made this cake just before finishing my stretch of night shifts. It helps to de-stress and I bring this along for others in my team as reward for everyone’s hard work
