I love everything about this cake! I followed the recipe but could only find roasted salted pistachios at my local market, so the lovely green color of the pistachios was muted, BUT I've traded that in for a satisfying salty-sweet element. Good trade. It's so beautiful, and I felt like a Domestic Goddess while I was baking it.
