I tell everyone this is the ultimate make-ahead dessert as it’s best straight from fridge a day after it is made. I find it so rich that I need something very sharp so love passion fruit and a few garden flowers in the summer. For Christmas I use blueberries, Cape gooseberries and cherries and they look like jewels.
