So good I had to make an extra layer. I was going to make 2 cakes but didn’t have the size a tin that Nigella recommended but I did have a trio of tins all the same size so I doubled the ingredients and made three layers.I had recently purchased an icing set with large nozzles so I had a go at piping the buttercream. The cake was so big when I’d finished it I thought I really can’t consume all these calories so I cut it in half and gave half to my mum and dad but when I tasted it I wished I hadn’t!!
