( Devils Rose’s - AKA DEVILS FOOD CAKE) decided to give this delicious recipe a go following Nigella’s recipe however using dark chocolate to decorate. With Autumn setting in, this comfort eating cake is perfect for any occasion - mine being a early Halloween party. Consisting of two moist chocolate sponges with a rich chocolate frosting centre and dark chocolate (piped) rosettes covering the exterior of the cake this dark chocolate cake will be frighteningly moreish!
