Nigella’s Chocolate Guinness Cake is a delectable, lusciously moist, and deeply flavorful masterpiece. Despite lack of baking confidence, dad and three sons, while mom was out and about, managed to pull together a delicious dessert for the family. The beautifully effervescent Guinness, the butter, the cocoa, and the rest create a luxurious batter that pours like silk into its springform pan… which, despite our inexperience, was buttered and papered so that Nigella herself would be proud! A fluffy whipped cream topping, enhanced with Bailey’s Irish Cream, perfectly resembles the bubbly foam atop a pint of Guinness and adds that special richness to the cake to round out its profile. This cake quickly becomes a family favorite and will stun party guests with its chocolatey decadence. We will make this again and again. Thank you, Nigella!
