This was such a fun cake to make. Seeing it rise up like an oversized soufflé, only to plummet in the centre as it cooled! I used jumbo candy eggs rather than the small ones and gave the nest a light dusting of cacao powder. Everyone got a slice: The neigbours, the colleagues at work and of course I saved 3 slices for myself, which were polished within two days. Guess I’ll need to make it again.
