Victoria sponge cake is very dear to my heart as it is my favourite cake and it reminds me of my childhood that I spent in Croydon London. My mom used to get me this cake from M&S during special occasions. During the Covid 19 pandemic I celebrated my 18th birthday at home and made this cake as it reminded me of the good times I spent in England.
