I'm only one person, so I halved the recipe. I really wanted to use frozen cherries but my store didn't carry them and to buy fresh the cost was $5.99 a pound. As for currants? I saw none. I settled on frozen blueberries and raspberries and fresh blackberries. I used a copper mold. I really like how it turned out and yes, it was delicious with vanilla ice cream.
