Making the Summer Pudding has been an adventure. I didn't know where to find red and black currants here on the east coast of Canada. I mentioned the pudding to a British friend of mine. Purely by chance we visited a British friend of hers 1 1/2 hours from our city who had served her the pudding one time in the past. Lo and behold he had black currants growing in his back yard! He was generous enough to let me pick some. After a bit of research I found a place to pick red and black currants not to far out of town. Next to make it...I wanted a video to watch and found one done by the Queen's former Chef. His was the simplest and I thought I can't go wrong with that! In the end 3 friends enjoyed it with me and my British friend said it was "Yummy". The End
