Nigella's recipe for Devil's Food Cake is my favourite for when I want to bake a truly decadent cake. It was the first recipe I tried from "Kitchen: Recipes from the Heart of the Home", and I've been hooked ever since. I particularly love the rich and luscious frosting, and how it perfectly balances the texture of the cake. I make this cake quite often during the dreary winter months - this is pure comfort food!
