It's summer here in New Zealand and the cherries are bursting with flavour. When I saw these dark glossy beauties at the local farmers market, I new I had to have them to top this decadent cake. A handful of freeze died cherries sprinkled over top give a little extra tanginess. A wonderful recipe I will be sure to make again.
