My 79 year old mum now requests I bake her this yummy cake; it’s her No.1 favourite (Nigella’s Nutella Cheesecake is a close second)! My mum sadly can no longer bake but I learned from her and, as she has now given me her treasured Kenwood mixer (from the 70s), I love to create various Nigella cakes and cheesecakes (I’m a HUGE fan)! This is the cake I’ll be making not only to celebrate St Patrick, but also to celebrate my wee Irish mummy on Mother’s Day!
