I added a little more dried fruit in mine - I used a mixture of sultanas, cranberries and locally produced dried plums from last season that were cut into pieces. And for the glaze, I added a couple of teaspoons of apricot jam for that extra sheen, stickiness and sweetness. Served in a basket lined with a piece of cloth with old-style Slovenian lace from my mother-in-law and we all love it!
