My mother-in-law loves the combination of cake, whipped cream, and berries - this couldn't have been a more perfect cake for me to bake for her for Mother's Day. I added some rose water to the whipped cream since my mother-in-law is a big fan of that flavour. This recipe was a huge hit with her and the rest of the family - the cake disappeared promptly!
