Nigella’s Victoria sponge recipe is quick to make, delicious and gives any beginner baker (like me) a chance to slightly alter it to make a more personal twist to the cake. I followed the recipe but instead of using sandwich tins I used two loaf tins, in between the cakes I used raspberry jam and whipped double cream. On top I dotted the jam and piped the cream to create the flowers x
