Gleaming, smooth, delightful. Exactly the right amount of sweetness and shine, some gold sugar dust to complete the experience and everyone was very satisfied. I replaced the pecans with almonds, our chickens lay small/medium eggs so I used five and this worked perfectly. Nigella's recipes are always so wonderful to read and follow.
