Dear Nigella, I have made your Yule log every year for as long as I can remember. This year I am working in Helmand Province in Afghanistan as a paediatrician with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) but this hasn’t stopped me! It was a bit of more of a challenge than usual as we had to bring in some of the ingredients from Tajikistan and my kitchen tools were limited but I was still able to make it happen!
