I had a happy afternoon making these. Instead of hearts, I used the well used cookie cutters from my childhood days of rolling out cookies with my grandmother. It was my first time using them in decades. Also in honor of my grandmother, I sandwiched these with jam since jam is a popular filler in Texas.
