It's a long time since I've made a coffee walnut cake because of it's rather adult flavour, so I faithfully kept to Nigella's recipe. This cake has exactly the right balance of coffee in the moist sponge with a perfectly sweet buttercream topped with a crunchy walnut . Nothing short of a 10 out of 10 from me.
