
I reduced the quantities to make a petite version of Nigella’s Coffee Walnut Cake. It was the perfect size for our morning treat. I candied the walnuts and sandwiched the cake layers with a generous sprinkle of walnut praline to add some crunch to the silky buttercream. The textures were divine! Paired with a bold espresso and savoured in the garden, where the morning air enhanced every bite. The perfect way to start the day with a touch of sweetness and a good smack of caffeine. Thanks Nigella! This one will definitely be on repeat.
