I love both the previous Monday Morning Cooking Club books, but this one is a real treasure trove. And it is just what I feel we need right now.
It is so full of warmth and deliciousness, and emanates that loving cosiness that comes from the sharing of family recipes. Honestly, it was hard to choose just one recipe to share with you. I lingered enjoyably over the Custard Chiffon and Cinnamon Swirl Coffee cakes, the Mille Feuille, aka French Vanilla Slice, Poppy Seed Brioche, Hazelnut and Chocolate Trifle, and Almond Buttercrunch, but in the end, I knew it had to be this gorgeous (and gluten-free) Coconut and Passionfruit Slab Cake.
