I was lucky enough to get my hands on this when it was at page-proof stage, and the fact that there is a quote from me on the cover gives ample evidence of my enthusiasm for it. But I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to bring the book to your attention now as well, not least because it gives me an excuse to bring you a recipe from it. Now, Diana Henry isn’t capable of writing a recipe that doesn’t make one want to scuttle straight into the kitchen, so the job of choosing just one isn’t an easy one but, after much delicious deliberation, I plumped for her Moroccan-spiced Chicken with Dates and Aubergines, and here it is in all its glory.
