Since I had never got to grips with the air fryer, and been a longtime doubting hold-out, it may sound odd to say how much I’d been looking forward to The Actually Delicious Air Fryer Cookbook. But I knew that Poppy Cooks would never steer us wrong on the deliciousness front, and so borrowed an air fryer from a friend as soon as I had the book in my hands, and got to work expectantly. I’m glad to say I am now a convert! I don’t know that I’ll ever be someone who wants to cook everything in an air fryer, but this book has banished my fear, eradicated my doubts, and led me to discover how to use the air fryer in a way that suits me, for which I am very grateful. Not that this book is actually a primer for beginners: those of you who are already zealous fans of the air fryer will find it an essential companion.
The first recipe I tried from the book, and that gave me the determination and courage to continue, is the Homemade Scotch Egg, and it seemed the perfect one to share with you today!
