I love the way that cooking, while it might seem the most traditional of activities, lends itself so dynamically to up-to-the-minute technology. I'm not referring to kitchen equipment here but to the brave new world of apps and e-books.
I love it that my books and recipes are available in various formats and while I would never wish to do without old school books, I luxuriate in the on-screen versions: near weightless and with everything just a click or a soft-touch away, it makes me want to eat straight off the - digital - page.
Come to think of it, the hardware could make a quick handy supper tray itself!
