I love being in my kitchen at any time, but right now I'm really savouring it, not least because I am working on a pile of new recipes. I love pottering about stove side chopping and stirring and mixing and generally going with the flow. And not only do I love being in my kitchen, I get tremendous pleasure from the view I get when I'm in it: not just my pots and pans and much loved paraphernalia but also the late-summer view I get of my garden.
It's so beautiful - I am particularly taken with the way the squash leaves are weaving their way through an old sledge chair I found in an architectural salvage company - that I wanted to share it with you and here, indeed, it is.
