I am both excited and scared about the fact that I am any minute now starting the filming for my new tv series.
I have always taken the view that most things that are worth doing are a little bit frightening and, besides, nervousness is only natural. And it will be fun: I have worked with my crew for so long, they are truly part of my family. I will send you reports regularly once we're up and running obviously, but for now I am getting on with rounding up my pots and pans in readiness. As you can see, I've turned the house into a complete mess, but the piles of kitchen stuff make me feel curiously comforted. Filming properly starts on 11 June, but there's a lot to do before then. Wish me luck!
