My kitchen has been taken over today as I've been doing the cover shoot for my new book, Nigellissima. Yes, you would be right to infer that there is an Italianate theme - but then, you may well have guessed that given that most of the pictures I've been posting on both Twitter and Witter have had a distinctly Italian inspiration. I don't think anyone really actually enjoys having their photo taken but, having said that, I admit that the photographer, Mr Hugo Burnand, and his dynamic duo, Radu and Vanessa, made it all dangerously close to enjoyable.
Still, I don't want to jinx anything - I've still to finish writing the book! But that's something I'm looking forward to doing. I have so many new recipes I can't wait to tell you about. And on that note, I will stop wittering and start writing.....
