  • 4 eggs
  • 125 grams cherries (halved)
  • 500 millilitres plain flour
  • 200 grams dark chocolate (cut into pieces)
  • 250 millilitres caster sugar
  • 250 grams mixed dried fruit
  • 9 ounces butter (or margarine)

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 7 ounces bittersweet chocolate (cut into pieces)
  • 1 cup superfine sugar
  • 9 ounces mixed dried fruit

  • Cream Butter ans sugar,add 1 egg at a time.
  • Add fruit,then flour and baking powder,lastly add the chocolate and mix in the brandy.
  • Place in baking dish and bake on 300 for 1 hour.
