Brown ground beef, drain off fat. In a large pot, combine beef plus remaining ingredients, and bring to a simmer over low heat. Cook for 2 to 3 hours stirring every 15 minutes. .

Ingredients
Serves: Makes 12 servings.
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can kidney beans (with liquid)
- 1 can pinto beans (with liquid)
- 1 cup diced onions
- 2 diced chile
- 1 stick diced celery
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1½ teaspoons black pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups water
