Butter Corn Rice

Wash the rice and put in a bowl. Add the water, butter, corn salt and pepper. Place this in a normal cooker with a little water at the bottom and cook till it blows two-three whistles. Check after the second whistle if the rice is cooked, if not cook for some more time. Mix it thoroughly before serving so that the corn is evenly spread. Serve hot.
Introduction
I was always looking to serve our guests something unique, something light and nice and my aunt came up with this yummy recipe, a substitute for heavy ghee rice.

- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 tin sweetcorn
- 2 ounces butter
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground pepper
